Sodium Gluconate

Sodium gluconate (C6H11NaO7) is the sodium salt of gluconic acid, produced by the fermentation of glucose, appearing as a white to brownish granular powder.

It has excellent chelating (metal-binding) power, effectively binding calcium, magnesium, and iron ions, especially in alkaline solutions.

Uses and Benefits
