Zinc Sulfate

Zinc sulfate (ZnSO4) is an inorganic compound occurring naturally as the mineral goslarite, which is highly soluble in water.

Industrially, it is obtained by reacting zinc-containing materials with sulfuric acid followed by crystallization.

•Prevents leaf drop in fruit trees, directly improving fruit set and bud development.

•Acts as an antiseptic and preservative in leather processing, hardening the leather fibers.

✓In foliar or soil-applied micro-nutrient fertilizers for citrus and corn agriculture.

✓As a component of coagulation baths in the production process of viscose rayon fiber.
