Boric Acid

Boric acid (H3BO3) is an inorganic boron compound occurring naturally as the mineral sassolite, consisting of white, odorless, flaky crystals.

It is used in water treatment, as a neutron absorber in nuclear reactors, and as a fluxing agent in metallurgy.
