Why Stain Removal Matters

Stains in fabric production lead to:

  • Customer rejections and returns (+5-15% waste)
  • Re-processing costs (energy, water, chemicals)
  • Delivery delays and reputation damage

Oil & Grease Removal Protocol

Grosol ORC — our specialist oil stain remover:

  1. Apply Grosol ORC at 5-10 g/L
  2. Add Growet ELF wetting agent at 1 g/L
  3. Temperature: 60-80°C
  4. Time: 20-30 minutes
  5. Rinse thoroughly with warm water

For stubborn machine oil stains:

  • Increase Grosol ORC to 15 g/L
  • Add Grosol HVY (heavy-duty degreaser) at 3-5 g/L
  • Extend treatment to 45 minutes at 80°C

Prevention is Better Than Cure

Best practices to minimize staining:

  1. Regular machine maintenance and lubrication schedules
  2. Use food-grade machine oils where possible
  3. Implement edge trimming to remove selvedge stains
  4. Install water filtration to prevent rust contamination
  5. Clean softener application systems regularly
